Health term 2

 So in health 2021,we had to pick a topic and research about it and my topic was drugs, i found this really easy as growing up i have been around people who had done some bad things or couldn't handle being in the world and decided that they could take the easy way out and just make some really bad choices, From my own experience i feel like people think that drugs will help them and make them feel better but it doesnt because most drugs are actually bad for you and i dont like seeing people get hurt most of the time but most times when you want to help someone you cant and that the thing that sucks, Not all drugs are bad because there is legal or medicinal wich is basically where it is your doctor has sent you it and they feel that it actually will help you i dont know.. here is a link to my doc where it has different types of drugs.

shark fin soup

 Whats is shark finning: It is the act of removing a live shark's blades and tossing the remainder of the creature back into the ocean,where it dies in some horrible, nightmarish way. The balances are utilised in China and Hong Kong, and by Chinese people group somewhere else. as the vital fixing in shark-blade soup.Wich is yucky

Why is it a delicacy? The ligament in the blades is typically destroyed and utilised essentially to give surface and thickening to shark balance soup, a conventional Chinese soup or stock tracing all the way back to the Melody Line 960-1279 apparntly. The dish is viewed as an extravagance thing encapsulating ideas of cordiality.

How is this impacting our oceans? The finned sharks are regularly tossed once again into the sea alive, where they don't pass on calmlyWhen shark populaces decline, a gradually expanding influence can spread all through the remainder of the biological system.Whats is shark finning,It is the weird act of removing a live shark's blades and tossing the remainder of the creature back into the ocean, where it dies in some horrible way.

 So we watched a video and then Mr Wilson explained that they thought they were cool as and then the amercians and just droppped bombs everywhere but what they didn't know at the time but they were actually hitting innocent people and children.So now we got the choice to pick between two songs and study on them so here is mine,

He therefore pleads the people to walk in the path of establishing peace with him. In the performance of "Give Peace a Chance" included on the Live Peace in Toronto 1969 album, Lennon openly stated that he could not remember all of the words and improvised with the names of the band members sharing the stage with him and anything that came to mind

 The Underground Railroad was an organization of one person, African American, offering help to got away from oppressed individuals from the South. The specific dates of its reality are not known, however it worked from the late eighteenth century to the Common War, 

Born into the world an oppressed lady named Araminta Ross, she took the name Harriet (Tubman was her hitched name) when, in 1849, she got away from slavery in Maryland with two of her siblings. Then two or after three weeks, yet Tubman left again all alone.

before they went to the US they had this boat they utilized this boat and everybody needed to set down for the entire excursion being tied up they either had a bucket or like they needed to go latrine where they were and there were individuals kicking the bucket close to them and they had no say in it cause they were going to the US from west africa to be sold

this was the boat they had used they were put in a thing on the boat where they had to lay down and stay there until they were in the us to be sold it was about half a metre high so they couldn't stand up or anything

piano and guitar because have never played those instruments before and neeer thought i would end up playing them

The guitar because my fingers are small and it was hard to know the right thingy

Workshop-5- creating charterers

1. -look like a normal mum with button eyes
- Dresses like the real mother
-softer/rounder edges-hip,head,elbow and knees
-clothes are a basic design, no patterns
-Covers most of her body

2. -Head and nose- pointy and sharp
- Sleeves get shorter
-addition of red to the colour palette
- starting to get beetle shape from her apron
-long baggy pant keep ideas of softness.

3. -All weight has moved to hips/bum-accents beetle shape of dress
-red,black,white,more pattern,better/tighter
-fit and more skin is showing from her body
-getting longer and pointer -stretched  neck and pointed elbows
-shorter hair and and more of a pointed head and nose

-huge height increase-compared to the oven in the other shots

-got way skinnier,hair gets shorter

-  She wasn't happy at first with her normal parents.
-  Her other "mother and father" wanted to sew her eyes.
-  She had a neighbour that talked a lot.
-  She went on a mission to find the ghosts eyes.

High angle- Makes the character "Other Wybie" looks small,Weak and vulnerable.
Point of view-Other mother-Dominant and powerful.
Medium shot-Gives us some idea of background but not the full thing.
Audience feels- Powerful, We are looking down on Wybie through the other mothers point of view, Sad/Worried for Wybie- he looks small,sad and innocent-First character in other world to suggest that somethings not right.
Directors purpose- To make us feel sorry for Wybie and makes us suspect the other mother as shes the other other one in the shot-foreshadowing (hints that somethings going to happen)


In the shot with the other Wybie and the other mother, High angle shots are used effectively to show the theme (looks can be deceiving). This is demonstrated through a angle shot from the point of view of the other mother. She is looking down the front porch steps at a scared other Wybie. This makes the audience feel sorry/worried for wybie and makes the other mother seem all powerful. The purpose of this scene was to make the audience start to question if the other mother isn't nice so after all. Combined with the use of lighting,Wybie is in a warm light but surrounded by darkness, the director had created an atmosphere and caution- Something is not right. This reminds the viewer of a later scene where corline is looking p at the other other mother in horror as she her though a magical portal into a locked room. This shows that looks can be deceiving because the other mother mother wasn't nice like corline first thought


Dutch tilt- Turns it as if the character (doll) is lying down looking at where ever the is faceing
Point of view- Something bad is going to happen
Medium long shot-Shows her whole body but as its on a angle its kinda hard to try
Audience feels-Worried/Something will happen but not necessarily bad-Whats looking at her?
Directors purpose- To make us feel worried or scared for corline and suspect whats going to happen and ask whos watching her or whats going on.


In the shot the doll (corlines button twin) is lying faceing towards her while she is unpacking the boxes.

In traditional times, Matariki was a season to celebrate and to prepare the ground for the coming year. Offerings of the produce of the land were made to the gods, including Rongo, god of cultivated food. This time of the year was also a good time to instruct young people in the lore of the land and the forest.
