Water cycle

Precipitation is connected to evaporation and transpiration because they all have a part of water in then that is connected to the water cycle... The main three things in the water cycle  are...n water vapour, Transpiration and condensation.

Acid rain and climate change are connected to the water cycle because climate change is making the acid rain is apart of the water cycle because they both have a source of water in them. Climate change is connected to hurricanes because hurricanes are caused by climate change with all the heat and weather.

Carbon dioxide is connected to acid rain because carbon dioxide is the cause on acid rain.

My song

During this term our topic is on music. we had to make our own song to o with either what we loved or whatever we wanted.. I chose my ex best friend. This song basically explains our friendship from the start to how it ended.I do miss her a lot but I don´t think we will be friends again. My lyrics are based on how i´m feeling. The title is called the past because well... Our friendship was in the past from now...? I hope you liked it, its a bit depressing but from now i´m going to try write music instead of taking my feeling out on other people.

Our first activity was kick long ball For this activity I rated my self as a 3

Explanation

To achieve at level 3 you always have to make a Contribute to your team we have to show that we can consistently listen to other peoples ideas.

Example

During the first game of kick long ball I showed that I am working at level 3 by mostly listening and These examples show that I have meet the standard for level 3 or 4

Statement

Our second activity was Bench ball For this activity I rated my self as a 4 because I participated fully and have a good attitude

Explanation

To achieve at level 4 we have to show that we can consistently Contribute to your team and encourage others

Example

During the second game of Kick long ball.I showed that I am working at level 2 by hardly paying attention because I'm lazy and didn't want to Contribute.These examples show that I have meet the standard for level 2

Next week I am aiming to work at level 4 To make sure that I am working that level I am going to work on My attitude towards other and participate more often and use teamwork more often.

Making Connections to Prior Knowledge!

From This start of this week my reading group has been focusing on the facts of clowns. We got given a work sheet where we had to fill in a before ( What we already know about clowns ) and a during ( what we found out about clowns ) and After ( all together )... Now I will show you some examples of what i'm meaning. We have been taught the 3 way of thinking about this.

Text to self: Think about your own experience... This part make me think about the time i lost something special to me. I know what it feels like to lose something special.

Text to text: Text to text connections are we compare the text we are reading to similar texts. These texts could be a books or visual text such as a movie or tv program... This character remind me of harry potter. They were both boys who were orphans and got brought up my an aunt and uncle who were mean to them.

Text to world: This is when a connection what we are reading to thing that can or actually happen in the real world... The boy in this story is running to class president. He is promising to organise lots of fun activities for students at lunchtime. This reminds me of how politicians try to get people to vote for them.

Ki-o-Rahi

The History of Ki-o-Rahi:

k-o-Rahi is a traditional pre-European Māori ball game. It is a fast running contact sport, played on a circular field, involving imaginative handling and swift inter passing of a "ki" (ball). Before the arrival of Europeans, Ki-o-Rahi was played by Māori throughout Aotearoa/New Zealand. Often different tribes would play different adaptations of the game.

A tribe which had especially strong and fit ball players among its members could sometimes be solicited for help by another tribe preparing for war. A messenger would present a "ki" or "poi" to the chief, which would represent an invitation to join the tribe in battle.

In my words: Where is a traditional  maori game that oher people can play and my reshearch is just basically explain what it is about..
