-Opening scene-
- Music- Sounds like child's music box,bit creepy, dreaming, it starts quite.
- Perspective- Other mother P.O.V- where you can see from her shoulder as if your in her eyes.
-Use of close up shot- Its make the audience focus on the doll and not the creator.
-Lighting/colour- Dark, green, faded- sets the mood/atmosphere. Old, Abandoned and run down.
-Setting-Pink palace-Real world-
-Music- Happy,gentle,harmony,lyrics made up a language,sung by children,makes happy calm atmosphere.changes to increase tension- faster, louder,minor.
- Caroline- Sassy,moody,stubborn,always bright,blue hair, main character,makes us focus,shows that shes different from the others.
-Colour/lighting- Its dull,grey,boring,dark.tinted,bland,make the "real" house feel depressing,looks old and crusty,not a place she wants to be.
-"Real parents"- work alcoholics, Depressed, Sick,don't have time for their daughter,not happy,tired.
-The "Other world"-
 -Colour/lighting- Bright,vibrant,warm,welcoming-makes it feel inviting and warm,she doesn't stand out as much as she did in the old house.
 -Other parents- Fun,active,show her attention,energetic,they don't look tired,they have more colour and they seem happy and healthy.
-Music- Somethings not right,spooky music,slow paste,the music doesn't match what we are seeing,quite.
