Pig heart dissection

On Tuesday the 23rd of June..In science we dis-sectioned a piggy wiggys poor heart. It was gross but a kinda good experience. We started cutting on the left side then we cut the right side. We dis-sectioned a heart to be able to see how all the pathways and how everything goes better then on a diagram. We have been learning bout hearts and other parts of our bodys. Heart Chambers, Valves, Vessels, Wall and Conduction System. Different thing inside a heart.A heart is made up of four chambers. The upper two chambers are called atria (singular: atrium) and the lower two are known as ventricles (singular: ventricle). Muscular walls, called septa or septum, divide the heart into two sides. I liked doing this because it kinda gave me a reason to poke something .
